About This Project
Philadelphia artist Ray King was commissioned by Odessa Arts for his proposal “Odessa Spire” that reimagines the historic Cloth World sign as an iconic work of art that will define public art for Odessa, TX. Dyson & Womack are leading the project from the restoration of the existing structure through the completion of the installation of the artwork and regeneration of the site. The project is supported by a community invested in seeing this historic landmark preserved and reinvented. The restoration of the Odessa Cloth World sign as public art will be completed in late 2019 early 2020.
